Laser Vision Center Leads The Way

When New England Eye Center opened in 1991, the Laser Vision Center of Boston immediately became a clinical trial center investigating the excimer laser for PRK. This practice was one of the first in the country to offer laser vision correction to myopic patients. When the FDA approved the excimer laser for treatment in December 1995, LVC Boston surgeons distinguished themselves as highly experienced refractive surgeons.
In 1996, Laser Vision Center of Boston physicians continued to lead the way and began offering LASIK to patients. Since that time, LVC ophthalmologists have performed thousands of LASIK procedures with excellent results.
